Russia: Rise To The Challenge
Russia Rise To The Challenge is a small group of volunteers dedicated to lobbying the UK government in the wake of the publication of the Russia report by the British Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament in July 2020. This report was based on an investigation into Russian interference in British politics, which ran from November 2017 to March 2019. As well as bringing together all currently available information about the report in one place, our non-profit organisation assesses the government’s progress in responding and implementing change.
We have called ourselves Russia: Rise to the Challenge as a response to the challenge set by the ISC report as it asks the UK government to rise to the challenge of responding to " an accomplished adversary with well resourced and world-class offensive and defensive intelligence capabilities "

Assessing and Raising Awareness of the UK Government’s Response to the Russia Report
Tackling Money Laundering
Evidence shows that money laundering and illicit finance are problematic in the UK.
Protecting Democratic Process
Democracy is intrinsic to our country's success and wellbeing. The report found that responsibility for protecting democratic process was unclear and actions were not taken.
Tackling Foreign Influencers
It is crucial to protect the UK against foreign influence and interference in our politics.
Implementing Strategy towards Russia
Different strategies and measures have been implemented, with varying degrees of effectiveness.
Tackling Disinformation
Disinformation can adversely affect or disrupt the UK’s democratic and political processes.
Lobbying for Change
Our lobby group collects information about the Russia report to raise awareness of its findings. We are currently looking to build a small volunteer executive group before moving forward with lobbying Parliamentarians and organising a virtual public meeting about the Russia report.
